Trick-or-treat

We are lucky to live in a world where dogs and cats are a huge part of our families. They join us for everything including Trick-or-Treating! This year let’s encourage and celebrate animal tick-or-treaters by placing a purple pumpkin outside of our door to let everyone know we offer animal cookies for our 4 legged Trick-or-Treaters. We also encourage you to hang one of the below signs to let people know that you support MPS animals by participating in the #PurplePumpkinProject.

MPS is lucky enough to share the color purple with Epilepsy Awareness. Epilepsy is a sign/symptom of MPS so please note that you are also helping to promote awareness for this condition as well. πŸ’œ

About the Purple Pumpkin Project

Putting a purple pumpkin on your doorstep means you have animal friendly treats available, such as dog bones or kitty kibbles. This simple act promotes inclusion for trick-or-treaters with 4 legs and helps spread awareness for these rare disorders.

  1. Provide animal friendly treats for 4 legged trick-or-treaters

  2. Place a purple pumpkin in front of your home to indicate to passersby that you have animal treats available

  3. Add your home to the Purple Pumpkin Project map below (Takes 24-48 hours to appear)

  4. Spread the word! Share the Purple Pumpkin Project with your friends and family

  5. Take a photo of your pumpkin and/or sign and post on Instagram with the hashtag #PurplePumpkinProject and be sure to tag @mps.army for a chance to get featured
