I met Pan, then Polly, Walter and more... I am disabled Anna having a hard time accepting what I can and can not do. Watching the MPS dogs have helped me to try harder, push further. I hurt everyday, all day. But watching these beautiful gifts has shown me not to give up, keep trying. One step at a time

Just the babies that I have seen here have helped me smile even when I don't want to. They are so special and you can just see the undying love in their eyes. Their silly antics and shenanigans make me laugh and always make me feel better when I am sad or have had a bad day. Thank you for all you do for these sweet special babies.

These amazing animals have taught me the true meaning of persistence and courage through all life has thrown at them. And that with the humans that have made the choice to love these babies unconditionally, and show them true compassion and love... anything is possible! I work with dogs all day, whether I'm washing them or playing with them in doggie daycare, or just coming home to my own pups, I love dogs so much! I have fostered a sweet mastiff boy before that had a major liver shunt, and I gave him as much love as possible everyday, and then a miracle happened and C.S.U. gave him the surgery he needed to live a long and normal life and he ended up in the perfect forever home! Though I know it's not MPS and right now there is no miracle surgery for them, as soon as I read about this condition it made me want to do whatever I could to help! Perhaps one day I could give one of these amazing souls a loving home and learn even more about the true meaning of unconditional love!πŸ’™

I first fell in love with Walter, that led me to his girlfriend Princess Grimmy. Their attitude and personalities were so sweet. They had no idea that they were different and just enjoyed life. It breaks my heart every time we lose one. They all are truly an inspiration.

I used to breed Siberian Huskies as a hobby. Long ago my wife and I decided that there were too many dogs suffering from genetic disorders and far too many unwanted dogs in pounds and shelters, so we stopped breeding and started fostering.
We had some blind dogs we found forever homes for, among the many other
dogs we fostered. I had been fascinated by how dogs with disabilities were so good at adapting. One day I read about Fans of Batman and I started following his adventures. That lead me to his sister Life With Polly and her brief journey through life, Through her page I met All About Walter and Grimmy Living with MPSVIVader the MinPinTucker Wears Goggles and the unforgettable Life and Times of the Pan.
The way these dogs and cats face life gives me courage every day. When we lose one of them, it tears me up inside. Being disabled and a cancer survivor, I love how inspiring they are and how inspiring the folks behind MPS ARMY are. Every day is a new day, full of possibilities.
I have been pleased to share the information you provide and to spread the word about MPS ARMY.

I first heard of MPS via Tucker on Instagram. He had my heart. Then came Polly, Walter & Grimmy. That's how I found MPS Army and the rest of the beautiful crew. It made me more aware of genetic disorders due to breeding. I love spreading the word on MPS and how easily it can be prevented. I love sharing how the pups and cats with MPS live as normal as a life as possible...full of love and adventures. I love sharing how the owners give so much of themselves to provide a high quality life for their pets. We love these babies and they encourage me to keep going no matter any difficulties come my way.
